He is the recipient of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">four Grammy Awards<\/span>,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">three Golden Globes<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two Academy Awards<\/span><\/strong>, and several other high ranking awards.<\/p>\n<p>His works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements, Since the 1980s, Zimmer has composed music for over <strong>150 films<\/strong>. His works include <strong><i>The Lion King<\/i><\/strong> (for which he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1995), <strong><i>Madagascar<\/i><\/strong>, <strong>Rango<\/strong>, the <strong><i>Pirates of the Caribbean<\/i> <\/strong>series, trilogy, <i>\u00a0and many\u00a0others!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Zimmer spent the early part of his career in the United Kingdom before moving to the United States.
